Oh my gosh, did you hear? They’ve just announced the new season of Australia’s Next Top Office. I can’t wait until it gets released on Not Flicks later this year. Last season was so intense and interesting. Who could have guessed that Billy Jones was building a supervillain lair instead of an office and that he’d betray his partner, Denice, to take the prize money all for himself? It’s the kind of dramatic plot I’d expect from the television series Fantasy, not a reality show about office design. But that’s why I love it. It keeps me on my feet.
Who will create the best office design concepts Melbourne has to offer? It could be anyone. That’s the joy of this show. I heard a rumour that Not Flicks will be posting the profiles of all six contestants on completely random websites across the internet. Each profile will have a secret code word in it, the first letters spelling out the location of Australia’s Next Top Office season two. If you’re the first person to email the CEO of Not Flicks with the location, you win a million dollars and get to be a guest star on the show! I’m definitely going to win because I’m the show’s number one fan. I’ve seen all the office fitout styles Melbourne is famous for, and know them by heart. I’m basically an office fitout and design specialist.
I tried creating my own business to offer such services, but nobody seems too interested. Maybe it’s the aggressive amount of pink on my website. I think that’s important though because the whole message of my website is that your office needs to reflect you. You’ve got to be yourself, and I like pink. It’s not for everyone, but that doesn’t mean I can’t offer other office designs. I just need to get a few clients to get the ball rolling, then I’ll be swamped with requests. Hopefully, I can clear what should be a pretty busy schedule before ANTO season two begins.
