Broken Balustrade

admin March 25, 2020 Glass Leave a Comment

Looks like I’ve got to cancel my plans for the evening, thanks to the Glass Smashing Bandit. Once again I’ve become a victim of his attacks. Maybe I should give up on building the perfect glass house. I can’t do that, though, because then my father gets validation for telling me not to build houses out of fragile materials. Yes, I’m aware that there are other glass houses in Melbourne, but I wanted to make my own.

But what’s this, the third time that my glass balustrade has been obliterated by a sledgehammer? It’s getting ridiculous. People tell me I’m basically asking for it, especially since I’m always blogging about my glass house project. But if there was a criminal who went around stealing from peoples’ pockets, and somebody had a cheque for a million dollars hanging out of their pants and publicly bragged about it, would you blame them if it got stolen? Heck no! By now, our society should be at a point where people can do whatever they want and not be attacked for it. There’s no room for common sense in my utopia. If I want to build a house out of glass while there’s a glass smashing criminal on the loose, that’s my business!

Now, what was the number for that glass repair business from Melbourne? I’m probably their biggest client by now, so they’ll help me fix the balustrade pretty quickly. I might even be able to get a discount for customer loyalty. Still, I’d rather not have to go through this. I was going to go see the new Super-Duper Man vs Doctor Pistachio movie tonight. It’s the release of the summer, covering their epic battles throughout the years. I heard about the recent one, on top of a skyscraper. That would have been so cool to see. Maybe they’ll make a movie about that too. Apparently Super-Duper Man stopped us all from being smothered by poisonous gas. What a hero!

I wonder if there’s something I can do to help catch the Glass Smashing Bandit, because he seems to come here a lot. Maybe I’ve got a stalker, and he smashes the glass of my house just to see me. I’m not really sure what to think about that.
