The air conditioning in my car is too cold! I think it might be broken. It’s made driving an absolute nightmare recently, especially now that we’re getting toward winter. My grandson says that I should just “turn down the a/c”, but I’m not sure where the button is. Besides, I’m as certain that it’s broken as I was about that secret alien invasion in ‘49, and I was right about that!
I’ve booked an appointment for a car service near Bankstown, and I’m hoping the mechanics there can fix my air conditioner. This is just like that problem I had with the remote the other day. The sound on my radio was too loud, but whenever I pressed the button to turn it down, nothing happened. Technology is just so confusing these days. Whatever happened to the good old days, where all you had to do was pull the trigger and suddenly you’re being awarded for greatness in the field? If the people who do car air conditioning repair can’t fix the temperature in my car, then who can? They’re my last hope.
While I’m complaining about technology, does anybody else not understand how an Eye Pod works? I find it terribly confusing, what with its buttons and its randomise option. Back in my day, you had to take a record out and put it on the record player. You know exactly what you were getting and when you were getting it. There was none of this randomise nonsense that the kids seem to love. You had control of your own destiny back then.
And what is this Book Face I keep hearing about? It sounds like some sort of scrapbook that you put your face in. Doesn’t sound like much fun to me, but apparently it’s all the rage with the kids at the moment. I guess there are just some things I’ll never understand. Oh, my favourite show is on soon. I’ll need to spend at least an hour trying to turn the television on and changing the channel, so I’d better go!
