I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that house prices are the most exciting thing EVER. Well, house prices, house listings the property ladder, estate agent trends and more or less everything of that kind of thing. My idea of a really great Friday night is sitting in my home, alone, with a Piña Colada, browsing the latest home listings. I don’t actually want to buy a home or anything, but I do have a keen interest in seeing how the ladder is going. Also, just looking into people’s houses. Amazing, what you can do with the internet nowadays.
This is why I’ve always thought I’d do well as a buyers advocate. Melbourne has seen a rise in the trend, and of course I keep up with ALL the trends so I’m perfectly aware of it. First time I heard that property advocacy was a real thing, I was bowled over. FINALLY, a career that suits me perfectly! I know everything there is to know about home buying, and I look at luxury, high-end properties all the time. Then I learned that the industry was a little bit more exclusive than that. property advocates aren’t exactly coming out of Melbourne’s…ears. But still, it’s a service I offer for free anyway. Many of my student friends have come to me for help and advice, and I’ve found them great, cheap places near their universities because I basically know everything that ever graces an estate agent’s website. It’s an obsession, but the best kind. Everyone needs a roof over their heads.
Alright, so maybe I can later join the ranks of the Melbourne property advocates. I’ll have to start my own business, perhaps…but I have a groundwork of knowledge, and also a reputation for quality. People will trust me to find their high-end properties. I just know it.
